Experience. Awarding experience is one of the more interesting parts of the game. Depending on how quickly or slowly the awards go out, the game changes dramatically. I thought I would try an artificial award mechanism, based only on a theoretical progression rate. The idea is that L1 through L3 takes 1 game session each, L4-L6 takes 2 game sessions each, and L7+ each take three sessions. At this rate, it would take 51 sessions (1 year at the rate we play) to get to level 20.
This is only an experiment. I reserve the right to drop it like a burning hot potato at any time.
