Comments, Notes and Advice about running the game of Dungeons and
Dragons.
Philosophy. I don't know if you could call my gaming style
a philosophy or not. I do know there are things that I try to get across.
Never judge a book by its cover. This is a common theme that comes up
again and again lately. The players in my group tend to act without thinking
before assessing the actualities of the situation. This is, of course,
something that I will attempt to remedy.
Alignment is not enough. I managed to turn one game session into an hour
long discussion of alignment with such questions as, if you meet an evil
person, are you right to kill him without question? No matter what that person
has or has not done?
